Too easy for kids to "accidentally" hit a banner ad - deliberate ploy to force a purchase perhaps? Not sure it actually even instructs correctly.

The app may very well have potential, but who could tell. Every time my daughter tries to draw a number she invariably hits either the banner at the top or the bottom, which instantly takes you to the app store to buy some random app. Whats worse, is it loads from the beginning again when you switch back to the app from the involuntary app-store visit. It appears to not support multitasking. (using an iphone 4s) The app itself *might* be decent, but the demo version is incredibly frustrating for both my kids and myself. Let people actually TRY it, rather than loading 30-40% of the screen with reactive advertising. Its already a limited version, why do you need that in there too?

My children like this app and are learning their letters with its help. One issue I have is that they way it wants you to write some letters (d, m, w, etc.) is incorrect. I teach Kindergarten and we try as much as possible to keep the pencil from lifting off the paper and this app does not do this (w should be one line down up down up, they want 4 lines going down...) if this was fixed it would be an awesome app.

You only get the lite version with the option for an in-app perchase, but what you do get isnt worth the free download. The letter and number tracing have to be in an exact order, designated by numbers (trace a line from 1 to 2, then 3 to 4 etc...) and you cannot go outside the line or in reverse order or it immediatly stops you (cant even finish the letter) with a sad panda face saying try again..... Any child who can already read and recognize the number sequence wouldnt need to learn to trace a letter....and no kid that young has the fine motor skill to trace the letters so precisely so as not to fail. Pointless

As an Occupational Therapist in the schools working with kids with disabilities including autism, I like this app. Most of the letters have a natural way to writing them but I dont let my student do M,N,V, or W. They do not go along with how I teach my students, similar to Handwriting Without Tears method. The I could include a line on top and bottom, the T line down first and then the top. I do like the my students cant do a rushed or sloppy job. I would love to see lowercase letters. I would buy the full version if they included the lowercase letters.

The letters and numbers are not traced the same way that many English speaking areas teach it. (ie m, n, w, v)

It told me I was doing bad and it did not go to the next letter so I am deleting it I got it for my brother and I was doing it to see what it was like and I did not like it

I downloaded both versions. Paid and free and neither version has sound on the iPad, but when I downloaded them on an iPod they worked fine. My son doesnt like to play it on the ipod .Other than that they work fine. Please try and fix that.

Its a great app I wish the come out with up grades. And if they can make coloring book also . If they come out with the up grade. See if you can add more word and picture.

The Ads are sexual adult content. VERY sick for children game apps. Example: #1 flirting app. Shame.

Nice idea, done well enough, but the strokes for some letters are just plain wrong. Lower case w is awful, as is v and some others. Ruins the app.

I agree with the OT and others that I dont like the formation of some letters. However, this app is very motivating for some kids. If the letter formations are changed, and if a stylus can be used, as well as a score given at the end (for data purposes) this would be a wonderful app to teach kids handwriting.

On the free version of this app, an ad was continuously at the top for "Meet Singles Free." Pictures of girls kept flashing. That is not an appropriate ad for a childs app.

Purchased for my grand children. THE SOUND HAS NEVER WORKED! I have checked and double checked the mute button and that is not the issue! This app needs to be fixed. If necessary just remove the mute function to resolve this issue. Adjust the volume with the buttons on the iPad. Do not buy this app if you expect to have sounds. Terrible is the best word for this app currently. Fix the volume and I would rate this app a 4 but in its current state I rate it a 1 at best.

I was watching my daughter playing with this application and realized the instruction was inaccurate. Check how to write letter M, M, N. The instructions from this is just wrong. I dont want my daughters to use this app unless the developer fix this kind of mistake with next update.

Could be a great app, however, you must purchase upgrade to get rid of ads. The ads currently running are extremely inappropriate for kids. Interested in boys girls or both??!! Are you crazy!

For all the people put there who are knocking this app because you have to stay in the lines, be quiet. The point of this app is to introduce the letters to kindergarten students and lower ( if applicable). Its ok to get it wrong the first few times but eventually the students get the e hang if it. That being said, I do agree that a few letters need to be changed, M,N, and W for instance. The people who complain about not being able to finish the letter are the same people who cant deal with failure and how to rise above it. Thank you.

My son loved this before. Now the app is too busy with to many choices. Also find another way to advertise please. I had purchased upgrade previously to remove ads. Now the app still has ads even after purchasing.

I didnt appreciate the ads at the top of the screen with half naked men. Its a childrens app for crying out loud! Have an ad filter!
